Kenzo SS15 Lookbook

£35.00

Kenzo SS15, presented by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim inside a Parisian skatepark where concrete blocks moved like the rhythm of the city itself. Screens ran through waves, sunsets and Tokyo at night while Disclosure played through the space.

An avatar named Knola greeted the room in English, French, Chinese and Japanese, a real person mirrored in real time as the collection's stand in for a multicultural future. Denim, mesh and broderie anglaise built into free flowing silhouettes, transparency and air translated into something clean rather than loud, a rebuttal to Kenzo Takada's own version of the global citizen through references rather than restraint.

Leon and Lim spoke about a future that is close rather than distant, technology approached with responsibility rather than spectacle.
